TEACHERS Project
Student Wellbeing; We know you care!
We are inviting your participation in the next phase of our TEACHERS Project research beginning in Dec. We will support you in implementing simple, evidence- based classroom practices to support student wellbeing. The aim is to NOT add more to your “to do” list but to find practices that work for your teaching style, comfort, class setting etc. Our first phases of research have shown great success for students and professors felt supported in their efforts. Collectively we can have a huge impact on student wellbeing if we all do a little something in our classrooms. Please join us! You may already be doing something so let’s bring awareness and more intention to those practices. Click here to access our toolkit and reach out to either Sally or Jannik to indicate your interest. We plan to connect with you late Nov./early Dec. and/or Jan. to get ready for
winter classes. Thank you for your consideration of participation.

>>> Call for Proposals: SoTL Seed Program
The UBC Institute for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (ISoTL) and the Centre for Teaching, Learning, & Technology offer a support program for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL). The SoTL Seed Program provides graduate research assistants, collegial support, and complementary funding for projects that seek to research and evaluate impactful pedagogies. Selected projects broaden our understanding of teaching and learning in higher education and show a potential for significant contributions to the UBC community and beyond.
Projects are strategically selected to reflect the breadth of work at UBC in terms of disciplines, scholarly approaches, and expertise.
Deadline: December 20, 2021. Please see the Program page for more information.
